Significant Advances Made in the Mediterranean Pilot 

The ONEforest team dedicated to "Silviculture and management of Mediterranean forests" recently conducted its 8th formal meeting to discuss the overall progress of tasks and deliverables, as well as the work plan for the upcoming weeks.

ONEforest & RESONATE projects have joined forces to organize the webinar series "Exploring Forest Resilience", which is an open science initiative to share knowledge and connect researchers. In each webinar researchers of both projects will give a pitch focused on a own research. 

In this first webinar, Marju Kaivapalu (ONEforest) addresses "The uptake of heavy metals in hybrid aspen plantations" and Laura Nikinmaa (Resonate) presents "Enhancing the resilience of European forests - from concept to forest management application".

ONEforest presented in the annual Estonian forestry conference

On 26 November, the Estonian University of Life Sciences organised a conference "From Forest Science to Practice" dedicated to the 100th birthday of Järvselja Study and Experimental Forest, and ONEforest project was presented.

The annual Estonian forestry conference is very popular because it deals with current problems and give overwiew about new developments in Estonian forestry.
